For example I know of older people that went to the same doctors as me and they got prescribed pain meds while I was denied. Or is it because I'm covered in tattoos and therefore look like the stereotype drug seeker?

I feel so alone. Nobody understands my pain. Most days its unbearable. Been deal with this for a year and a half with nothing more than advil 4x a day. If you have it, what do you do help with the pain?

I have decided to stopped looking for boyfriend. With all my chronic pain syndrome and another medical conditions. Its made it to hard to find understanding partner. As they cant see my chronic pain syndrome. They want more that l can offer and they have to with all my medical appointments etc.

I've been getting my depression treated more effectively recently, and as it's gotten better I've been getting very restless and feeling the urge to just do something, but everything I've done so far has left me exhausted. I'm hoping to find some things to do that still give that feeling of getting something done, without being utterly exhausted afterwards.

I was injured bk in 2014 at work. My leg was crushed when the machine I was working on went haywire and snagged my leg and lifted me up and then dropped me about 10ft onto my head and neck.. I've had 4 surgeries on my leg and it is just as bad now as the day it happened. My hubby has chronic pain from scholiosis, 7 car accidents and years of skiing. How do I encourage him to get out and do some fun activities without getting frustrated because he is so depressed. I suffer from chronic Fibromyalgia pain and nerve issues as well. I feel like my pain is not taken seriously and he is just sleepin alot. He has distanced himself from our friends. Being in constant pain, even with pain pills, I have found it impossible to keep my house clean which drives me absolutely crazy,. I used to have the cleanest house, so clean my sister asked me if I was living in a model home!

I live in Springfield,MO (misery) USA and was wondering if anyone had found any resources. I do not qualify for Medicare, because I own my home.

Any suggestions?

I have a lot of pain in my back with scoliosis and arthritis, I also have osteopenia. I am told there is not much to do for me other than pain medication which are not really helping me much at all. I just completed several weeks of physical therapy and they ve given me several exercises to continue with at home and I am not sure how all of this is going to help. I am just very frustrated and not knowing what to do from here.

Any answers someone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Its bisar when i have a infection my hole body is out of order. Pain raises 5 scales imminently and neuropatic pain is full on. And when the infection is over my body still takes a mount of time to gets to the point and state before the inflammation. Is this common with nerve pain ?
