Steroid Shot In The Back
I have spinal stenosis and my pain doctor wants to give me a steroid shot to see if that helps with the pain. I've heard to many horror stories and I'm just not too sure about having a needle stuck in my back. Thoughts?

Spinal Steroid Injections
I have been assessed at the pain clinic as a candidate for spinal steroid injections every six months. I have severe spinal stenosis on several levels in my lumbar spine.
Has anyone had these injections, and if yes, what are some of the side affects and also what are the positives?....I'm seeking a balanced picture.

How Likely Are You To Recommend Spinal Injections For Pain Control?
Unfortunately epidurals only give me a day of relief from the novocaine in the injection. My insurance denies oblations. I’m sorry for all your pain.
Does Anyone Recommend Shots In The Back For Pain Not Helped By Physical Therapy?
My pain management doctor, who I've only seen once for an initial consultation has told me I have DDD (Degenertive Disk Disease) and arthritis in the back and had me go back to physical therapy, which I finished months ago and had said that if the physical therapy didn't work, she recommends shots in the back. NO, not really I had some shots, but found out it degenerates bones. I had a back op instead.

Has Anyone Hac A Nerve Block Done For Back Pain?
My pain doc wants me to try a nerve block on my back. I'm willing to try anything at this point. If you've had it done, is it painful? Does it hurt? I have DDD, stenosis,and L-4 and L-5 are herniated. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
You need to find a specialist who knows how to do it and has a CT or at least an ultrasound available. It can help you to patch up the pain for 1 - 3 months depending on the stage of your herniated… read more
Epidural Steriod Injection
How many here know that putting steroids anywhere near the epidural space is not recommended by the FDA, and ESIS are outright BANNED in several countries because of the longterm negative side.effects, such as Arachnoiditis, which is directly attributed to ESIs.?
