Had Anyone Ever Had Steroid Injections. For Neuropathy
Just wondering about it
I have had Steroid injections for pain in my left leg and in my neck for blown discs. The pain isn't worth it for me. They don't help me but not everyone is the same. Good Luck.
I get spine injections every 10-12 weeks for low back and leg pain. Speaking for myself it is extremely helpful in controlling my pain and giving my life quality. Without them every day is just a grind that is simply existence. I suffer from spine and diabetic related neuropathy and can't give you a firm number as to how much it relieves neuropathy pain.
i will tell you this, thru out the years I've tried the steroid injections i only could speak for my self, hell no it did me nothing and it hurt like hell.
I "climbed" the WHO pain ladder as recommended by my neurologist for my chemo induced peripheral neuropathy and found that only Percocet worked for me...45mg/day. Not pain free but at least I can sleep better. We pain patients are being persecuted due to a hysteria created by PROP and one Dr. Kolodny...go ahead...look it up for yourself. It's unconscionable!
I have found them helpful when Iām totally unable to function. ( both for lumbar and cervical nerve pain). They are no picnic tho.
