Radiofrequency Ablation
I’m at my wits end. Having tried literally everything there is and I’m now going to enquire with a neurosurgeon about this radio frequency treatment.
Has anyone with peripheral neuropathy tried this?
Would you recommend it?
I've had it done 2 times works pretty good but still have pain just not as intense.
Radiofrequency Neurotomy
I am on the waitlist for cervical spine Radiofrequency Neurotomy. I had a C4-C5 cervical spine surgery with iliac bone fusion in Sept 2019. It did not resolve the pain, it worsened the pain and further decreased range of motion. I also had a fusion at L4-L5 in 2002, and lumbo-sacral tarlov cysts removed in 2021 (since grew back). I have advanced OA (cervical spine greatly affected), tarlov cysts, and Myofascial Syndrome. For those that had the procedure done, what was your experience and… read more

Does Anyone Else Have A Doc That Uses Physical Therapy As Part Of The Treatment Program To Combat Pain?
Ways To Help With A Frozen Shoulder.
I've been dealing with this issue on and off for the last 19 years. At the reconstructive orthopedic clinic I normally get cortisone shots in the problem shoulder and depending on the severity physical therapy at my local hospital. I would love to know of any other ideas to address my pain. I'm thrilled with the pain relief with the cortisone shots, but being a brittle type 1 diabetic I'm always looking for help with the pain that doesn't mess with my blood sugar. Preferably home stretches that… read more
The VA clinic in Philadelphia, PA has physical therapy clinic but the trip there and back would be a issue sadly.
Has Anyone Ever Been Put On Levorphanol For Cronic Pain?
I was put on levorphanol for pain and wonder if anyone else has had as much relief as I have? I have been on it about 6 months now and I am pleased with the relief I have found with it! I have severe pain from nerve damage. I cant stand anything touching my foot, its awful. My right side was completely damaged from a stroke. This medicine was used in the 1950s. And the company closed, Many years later someone else bought the rights to it. All I know is it has helped! I still find days hard but… read more
