Does Anyone Else Use Essential Ouls

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Rio Dell, CA

A few years ago my good friend introduced me to Essential Oils. Not just any old Oils but a very good and pure one. I have since built up my Oil collection to about 150 bottles and it is my go to medicine cabinet. Don’t get me wrong, I take more than my share of Pharmaceuticals!! And have for decades. I take a very strong g regimen for pain. Plus so many others. But use to take about 30 pills per day and am down to maybe 12 different kinds some of which I only use as needed the chemicals… read more

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, If you can bite the bullet and purchase the Frankensence oil, it takes very little to get the 12 hour relief, as @A MyChronicPainTeam Member said. I was given a bottle for Christmas last year and put it in my sage oil and got relief in my feet like no pharmaceutical has ever given me. I know you tried Gabapentin and had no relief, this was while I was on Gabapentin, and my feet feel felt wonderful! But I was using too much, and switched back to the Lyrica that I do like, not the generic, Preglabin, but name brand Lyrica. I ran out of the Frankensence oil in the meantime, and did find it expensive and have not been able to go back to it. It became a matter of purchasing my THC or the Frankensence, and I chose the THC, as it has a whole body. Effect for me on my arthritis in the morning! Will be purchasing THC for the month on the 3rd. I will be putting Frankensence on my wish list for Christmas, as my mom gets it at a wholesale price, and using it sparingly for my feet in the Olive oil as my carrier oil, and sage essential oil, this time instead of my home made oil, that takes too long to curate (3 months). But very cost effective

As for thee psoriasis, I mixed 20ml of sage oil, 5drops each of, peppermint, lavender and sage essential oils in a small bottle and have been using a cotton swab o cotton ball on it ever 4-6 hours on it, and it is almost healed!! Just have to be careful with the peppermint on the face, because it if nasty if gotten in the eyes!

Your best information is on Google or another search engine dear. I use it a lot but do not want someone else to do as I may do and them dislike it or get sick, etc.
So glad will leave it to anyone else to ADVISE. If you want to know what is suggested for a certain problem, or about a certain oil I would be glad to photograph the page out of my book and post it. Feel free to ask me. I just cannot comfortably advise general use.
Be well. Glad you are interested. I realized after posting how much I have bought. But i use most of them and truly love the idea of natural products not chemicals as well as atomized oils to use in aromatherapy !!

I too love essential oils, mostly use it for aromatherapy (defused but sometimes even just put some drops on my pillowcase to help me sleep) Lavender mostly and sometimes this concoction called “head ease” when I have a headache, it really works most of the time!

For my psoriasis, I used a liquid coconut oil, about 2TBS with Eucalyptus (started in small amounts and slowly increased to see what my skin can handle- I do about 12 drops for a full bath with no issues) and poured that into my bath with a load of Epsom salts

I don’t use regular soap but Dr. Bronners Castile Soap which contains tea tree oil. Feels amazing on my skin!

For washing my hair the best shampoo I’ve found for my psoriasis I got at a local grocery store... Its called Scentuals natural and organic skin care, Rosemary Mint Moisturizing Shampoo with Argan oil. It’s even better than the Shampoo the dermatologist told me to get/use!

It’s amazing how much remedies nature seems to provide... I’m going to have to look into more oils and what they do. This topic has been very interesting and I look forward to reading more responses and learning more!

Michael, please tell me it is Young Living that you are buying! My niece swears by them. She has never given an antibiotic to her 6,4,& 2year old sons. And her husband is a medical student... she does sell, and that allows her to get hers for free... my mom is listed a a seller, but like you, it allows her to get them at wholesale prices, then give as gifts.

For pain, use olive oil as your carrier oil and use Frankensence or sage as your topical oil. The olive oil soaks into the body easily and the Frankensence is awesome for tight muscles! And I know you must have seen my posts on a Native American oil that has been used for thousands of years with olive oil and white or purple sage (dried) leaves..olive oil being a newer oil, but the fat from the latest kill would have been boiled gown for the original oil. The sage is a natural anti inflammatory, and I have used it on my arthritic knees for over 10 years!! I also use the sage oil for dry skin like when the weather gets cold and your hands dry out and crack.
So, what is good for plaque psoriasis? I ask, as the biologics that the doctors want to prescribe have horrendous side effects, and my 83 year old dad can not handle them. His lower legs a beat red, and crack and bleed sometimes, and he can not go sit it the sun, as he is constantly get new sports on his face, head & neck removed. They are basal cell carcinomas. I had my first basal cell removed when I was 21.. the youngest patient that dermatologist had ever seen at that time with it. I’ve had a few spots since then, but think I have the psoriasis on my face now. I’ve gotten 3 of the 4 places to heal, but the 4th one persists. Any ideas?

Thank you oh Guru Hippie of No CA!

Blessings
