This Is Regarding Hip Replacement, I Have Been Seeing Many Advertisements On Stem Cell Surgery, I Diagnosed With Arthritis.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Baytown, TX

I was wondering if anyone has had this procedure? I am unable to have hip replacement due to medical conditions. My pain started like my hip was going out of place like a cramped muscle, really no pain to the bone at all. I thought it was a nerve problem, it would come and go. Then I noticed when my bladder got filled I was having pain in the groin, but after relieving myself it went away. Now I am having pain like ache from my hip area down to the knee. However I can relieve all pain by sitting… read more

How To Support Your Partners While They Support You?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dallas, TX

I can’t get out with my fiancé and so many things or enjoy moments as much as we used to because of the pain and I can tell it’s taking a toll on him. He just wants to see me happy and admitted how much it hurts him when he sees me hurting. He’s been so wonderful to me in this, but I know everyone has a breaking point of how much they can handle and I want to take some of the burden off of him. He always carries me when I can’t carry myself and I can tell he’s growing weary too. We have a… read more

How Do You Exercise And Stay In Shape With Chronic Illness?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dallas, TX

I really want and need to get in shape but I am so scared I will just end up hurting worse than I started or vomiting all over the gym. I’m just tired of my only exercise being a walk to the mailbox. Even then I’m tired but I want more. Does regular exercise help with pain management, even if it makes you tired?

Does Anyone Else Feel Hungover After Going Anywhere?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dallas, TX

I don’t drink. I don’t use drugs. Every time I go out and do anything beyond maybe like, drive to the grocery store to pick up a few things, I come home feeling hungover. Had an amazing time on the town last night eating dinner with my loved ones and walking in the park, came home at like 9:30, went to bed at 10 and today I feel like
I’ve been run over by a dump truck.

Why Would Someone Experience Cramps Every Time They Poop?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dallas, TX

I’ve searched the internet for this to no avail. It’s not related to menstrual cramps or a UTI. It’s also not diarrhea. Every time I have to have a bowel movement get terrible cramps that feel like the most severe menstrual cramps, even when not on period or ovulating. It’s daily and happens without fail within at least 10 minutes of waking, if the pain hasn’t already woke me up. I try to go to the bathroom and the cramps don’t always lead to a BM either. I always do eventually (some other… read more

I Am Curious On The Side Affects Of Gabapentin Please? I Have Noticed Some Teeth And Gum Issues Lately.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Rochester, MN

I do not know if the medication is even still working for my pain. I just am wondering if there are other meds for my pain due to some possible new side effects. Or is it affects?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I'm just the opposite I take 300mg twice a day. And I get lethargic with out them.
Lyrica has the same properties but 4x as expensive. But I think meds affect individuals differently. 🤔

Does Anyone Know Exactly Where You May Find Someone That Helps Write Legal Letters ?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Saint Petersburg, FL

I need to write a letter in a formal formation to my doctor, and after years of being traumatized by all this, on top of having PTSD , it's as if I'm terrified to speak up for myself anymore.. which is funny, because I can fight like a tiger for others , but not myself.. I can't be the only one like this ..? Anyways , I read this great article on how to stand up for your rights after being abandoned by a long term doctor, and really could use help in writing a letter so I dont shoot myself in… read more
