A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone went for spinal cord stimulator implant? If so, what are your thoughts and how do you like it? Going for SCS in about 3 weeks and I’m nervous but not because I know I’ll be getting some pain relief.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Then came lightening bolts in knee and an electric drill in calf. Entire leg, including foot, now feels tight with pins & needles sensation. A week ago I woke to my left foot being badly swollen.

Three months after surgery at L2/3 last year, I was told that level needed a fusion. L3/4 had been fused in 2015. L4/5 has been… read more

Serotonin (5-HT) For Pain Management

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Redwood City, CA

Has anyone tried serotonin (5-HT) for pain management? Serotonin is available on line and lots of information in the literature about serotonin playing role in pain modulation. If you have tried it would love to hear from you.

I have tried Kratom, poppy seed tea, CBD oil & MM. Still looking for alternative to pain meds

Thanks!

THC Versus CBD

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Calgary, AB

So i've been trying medical cannabis for a year now, more on the high CBD side with no relief unfortunately, great for anxiety though so still great. My question is, has anyone found more pain releif with THC if CBD didnt work? I am reluctant to try (more because of its stigma, husband is still uneasy just with the high CBD strain) but at the same time I really need something to get me through till my epideral steroid injection.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member
