Where Did All The Caring Dr’s Go?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lindsborg, KS

I’m so saddened by the nature of the medical community. 10 yrs ago I had a wonderful doctor that was the most caring, wonderful doctor and friend. He diagnosed me in 2000 with lupus and fibromyalgia and severe degenerative disc disease. I had spinal fusion, and two spinal implants. He passed away in 2011 and it’s been a nightmare ever since. My doctor I’ve had for the last 4 years decided yesterday that I need to go to a pain specialist dr. I can not afford a specialist. I’ve been on the same… read more

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cincinnati, OH

Have you ever been hooked up to the heart monitor at the hospital and going off showing you are in A-fib quite frequently then a few times showing you are in Vtach but they tell you it's not real? Well excuse me, but I feel this A-fib very much! They put me on metoprolol, flecainide, aspirin, and lipitor. I don't know why they put me on lipitor because my lipid panel was fine. They told me it wasn't my heart after doing an echo, which showed a trivial pericardial effusion, my tricuspid leaflets… read more

Osteoarthritis Relief

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Palm Bay, FL

My fiance suffers daily with osteoartritis near her thumb & wrist on her right hand. Her rheumatologist has prescribed hydrocodone acetaminophen which offers some but certainly not complete relief. We are seeking any answers to help deal with this affliction. It seems there is no cure but we pray there is some way of living more completely with it.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member
