Like knees making sounds example snapping, crunching, etc...
Joint stiffening, pain and/or giving way?
I am 58, in a few days 59, my orthopedic surgeon said need to be older seems likes even maybe decades...though now overweight due to had to stop exercising even changed to yogi fusion. Had to stop that as well. I am at my wits end with my OA, I need at least one knee replacement?

Find a very good ortho. you not to young but make sure you find a good ortho. it sounds like your doctor is not a good ortho. I would tell you my story but it might scare you. but I was bone on bone and had surgery and well it didn't go well. And my doctor was very bad. He was suppose to be the best. but 6 knee replacement on the same knee . and 3 with a different doctor.

I had total knee replacement last Aug for exactly same reason. My knee was gone…bone on bone. My kneecap gone too and I had meniscus tears. I was also gaining weight due to being unable to do a lot. I’m so glad I had the surgery as I can finally walk w/o a cane…knee stable and doesn’t give out any more. If you’re at the point where you’re bone on bone, and overweight, you will probably need replacement at some point. You need to check with your orthopedic dr. Good luck to you!!

Hi. We're about the same age. I'm having both knees done this year (three months apart). I hear you about gaining weight. I love to walk but..
I'm very nervous as I was in rehab facilities for two years due to three back surgeries and a few other problems. I'm SO glad this can be outpatient. Blessings. Let me know if I can answer anything else for you🤗

I have bone on bone in both and still try to walk but it is very painful, have only had orthoscopy twice on one left knee. Have heard so much negativity on surgery that have stayed away from the knife.
