Has Anyone Had Multi Level Spinal Decompression And Fusion

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
NJ

I have 4 herniated discs in lumbar spine causing severe stenosis. I have arthritis DDD bone spurs enlarged ligamatum flavum. I went to neurosurgeon to get permanent spine stimulator put in. He reviewed my films and told me my back was too bad to get the stimulator. He said it would mask symptoms and I could get permanent damage. So I am scheduled for decompression and fusion L2 - S1 on May 31st. Was wondering if anyone has had this and any suggestions or tips you may have.
