Am I The Only One Pain Medication Isn’t Helping For?
About two months ago I suffered a hemiplegic migraine and the pain hasn’t left since. I keep hearing people talk about how they get migraines and how well they are able to get the pain to go away in a couple hours or days and how it’s not that bad, but rn my only relief I’ve been getting is sleep. Am I the only one who is getting migraines this bad? Or am I just really weak, before this I thought I had a high pain tolerance now I don’t know?
You are not the only migraine sufferer, but I hadn't heard of consistent migraines until now. The ones I had only last 2-3 days and many times I was hospitalized on demerol and fenergan until they went away. Hopefully you will find something that helps with it. You are not weak. Even those with high pain tolerances can only take so much.
Hi Michele. I’m Barb and I’d love to hear about ur pain pump experience. I have one for 2 urs and we’re still working on the doses. I have morphine and also Prialt in my pump but have had other meds too. I still need oral meds to get through the days so not sure why I got the pump!
Hello, This might sound strange but you need a pain mgr. & a neurologist. They are the
most educated with experience. I have a morphine pump implant and I get it cleaned out and refilled monthly.
Think about this aggressive treatment!!!!! Not many doctors believe in this method of treatment. My email for more information:
