@A MyChronicPainTeam Member - This tends to happen with the less expensive products. My original memory foam mattress was a Tempur and it was excellent, but very expensive. I have since tried memory foam toppers on a top quality sprung mattress. This worked pretty well, you do have to be careful as not all of them offer deep enough memory foam. I currently have a combiined sprung mattress with memory foam built in. This has been excellent.

In my case it's memory foam all the way plus a C shaped support pillow x

Well It could be a bad thing if you have kids....they WILL get you up on saturday morning. Also that was thirty years ago.... my condition has gotten a little worse ; ) Go with the memory foam....

Yeah, @pattihendri, I've never been comfortable on a water bed, so I think I'll stick with a mattress or memory foam.
