Need Doctor In Cincinnati Badly

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cincinnati, OH

I moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles 4 years ago with my Doberman service dog. On 345 mg of morphine. My regular doctor at the University of Cincinnati medical center wrote it to begin but he referred me to their pain management clinic. The quack moron in that clinic no sooner introduced himself before he spouts this lie about the state requiring him to lower my dose to 60 mg. ?!?!?!?! SIXTY mg?????? You must be joking. So then he says "well, you can look for another doctor to write it the… read more

FM Diagnosis (but Prognosis Is GOOD, So I'm Told!)

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Baltimore, MD

First post 👋 Hi all! So, it took years to be diagnosed with Celiac but that isn't my issue. I have the same helpless feeling because there is something secondary going on that no one can seem to figure out. Doc thinks it could somehow be connected to Celiac and I believe that. Not much is known about it honestly. The current diagnosis is the all-encompassing, vague one of Fibro. I do see a Rheumatologist and I've had all the bloodwork and MRI's, etc done regularly and nothing can be found. It is… read more

What Are People Using For Pain?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Malone, NY

I am using oxycodone and want to find something else that works for chronic pain. What are some of you using for pain. My doctor won't let me use ibuprofen.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

Be careful. Hydrocodone already has acetaminophen in it. Most do. Percocet. Oxy. Too much causes problems.

Who Is The Correct Medical Professional To See Regarding Possible CFS / FM?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Edgewood, MD

I have suffered with fatigue and widespread pain for more years than I care to remember. It seems as though whenever I mention this to anyone that I see medically, its as if they blow it off. I can't seem to get anyone to actually listen to me. Very frustrating. There are days when I literally have trouble putting one foot in front of the other to get what I need to get done.
