Many animals are ESA, emotional support animals. They don't do an actual "service" and don't require any training. But their presence is very helpful for multiple reasons. I manage apartments & get involved with this alot.
Im.all for ESA, service, pets in general! I'd be lost without mine! I just had to put one of my cats down 2 wks ago.....
The term "service animal" is sometimes used in general. There are no charges for service or ESA pets in renting, in WI anyway, and unlawful to turn them away.

What does your service dog do? I have a black lab who is a great companion and knows when I'm upset (depression) and in pain. He's also very good at notifying me when someone is at the door. But, he doesn't open the door, etc ):

I bought a mattress last month it cost me $400.00 well worth the money I bought it with one of the stimulus check

I got a firm mattress and it helped. I have not settled on a pillow yet.
