Has Anyone Filed For Disability ? If So.... Was It A Long Process Or Difficult Proving Crps?... Thank You

I applied and represented myself because the attorney that I consulted wanted me to do all the work, so I didn't want him to get any money. I lost twice and then went before a judge and won. It took 18 months but the benefit was retroactive.
CPP always says no but l kept pushing till the right person agreed with my claim
At first I tried on my own, which was a mistake. Got turned down. I recommend you do as I did, use an attorney. I guess all together it was about a year and a half, maybe less. Everyone I went to my primary doctor or my neurologist out and other doctor, I’d give my attorney the notes from the doctor visit. My attorney sent the doctors request for information on top of what I gave him.
Applied a year ago with an attorney. Still waiting. It’s frustrating, but I finally stopped checking for progress on the SSA site. Wishing you luck and a speedy approval.
I can tell you this. I filed at a bad time-backlog and the ONLY thing that kept it for going on for YEARS was I had documentation and not just from my Internist; had specialist, MANY tests, pasts surgeries etc. Make sure you do your homework and show them you want to feel better and have tried A LOT. Good luck.
