For Those Of You Prescribed Gabapentin, What Is Your Dosage?

I take Gabapentin 600, three times a day. Curious how high a dose the dr will take me, and does it work a lot better with higher doses?

I am on Zohydro. It is time released hydrocodone. I take one every 12 hours. Because it’s time released it’s pretty steady pain control. It doesn’t have the up and downs of taking it every four hours.

I take a pretty hefty dose. 3,200mg a day. You know I'm reading about some of the bad things that Gabapentin, but I'm getting relief from this awful illness. I remember how AWFUL it was to not have the right meds. This one works for me. I take at least 300mg of Tramadol a day, usually the maximum dose of 400mg.

You know, I thought I had to change doctors for insurance reasons and had to change and found out I don't. It is just a billing issue to get my claim paid. This guy pissed me off, but he REALLY does know what he is doing and we do have intelligent conversations. He's not the kind of doctor who sticks their nose in the air. As a matter of fact, I sometimes correct him on things, he looks it up and says I'm right. :)

#PeteSmith Hello Pete I'm Leana and I'm on 2100 mg of Gabapentin a day and 200 mg of Tramadol a day for severe chronic nerve pain in my upper body. How does the Tramadol work for you? Both medinces do not help me at all.

800 4 times a day. I take maximum dose of Tylenol and Tramadol, too. I'm trying to come off of Cymbalta and it is just horrible.
