I am on the highest dose of gabapentin. I take robaxin as a muscle relaxer- 3-4 X a day. I take CBD quite a bit during the day. It can make you tired if you have to take enough to help your pain. I use a cold pack- as heat makes it worst. I usually take 1-2 Valium. Many times nothing helps and it gets unbearable. The rainy weather and real windy weather really bother me. I also have degenerative issue . I had back surgery 16 yrs ago and it left me in this horrific nerve pain. I can’t sit. Not good laying down and now bothering me walking I go to the Cleveland Clinic for results of MRI Also now dealing with constipation . I feel I am worse than last yr. That worries me. I’m pretty sure Cleveland dose not script pain med. I feel this is now what I need. I have been in the ER a number of times because the pain is unbearable. They did give me Percocet while I was there and it did help but couldn’t give me any to take home . I’m looking forward to my meeting with Cleveland Clinic on Monday and have a virtual phone appointment with my neurologist next week. . I have had ketamine infusion that helped the first time but not the next two. Might do another one- not sure yet. I have tried everything possible at the Cleveland Clinic in the last couple yrs. Nothing helped. I’m very frustrated and all this is getting me down. I’m usually hopeful that there will be something new to come out. My dad at the age of 97 always told me for years- Don’t ever give up!! He has passed but his words are always in my mind. They won’t do surgery because if they did and hit another one I could be paralyzed. Don’t. Want that. I just keep praying 🙏🙏🙏I won’t be able to go to my daughters out of town wedding in Feb. I of course really want to go!! Don’t think I’ll make it. My family vacations in Florida and I can’t ever go. I’m happy that they go! Told my husband to go with our kids. He has gone a couple times. But of course this upsets me but don’t let them know . What REALLY bothers me that it hurts I can’t play much with my precious grandchildren. I use to do a lot of things with them and we all miss it.

Hi, I take celexa, anti depressant for mood and general anxiety related to my discomfort. It helps me. I take robaxin as needed for back, neck and shoulder pain. It takes much of the pain, relaxes my muscle which is part of the pain ie muscle spasms. Robaxin has no bad side effects for me. I have oxycodone 5 mg 4-5's per day. Yes I am able to do much more when experiencing less discomfort. I use a heat ie heating pad and/or ice packs (when having too much anxiety the cold treats it). Lastly I have an anti anxiety when needed when I can not control an anxiet attack. Hope this helps. I have had nerve ablation which helped a great deal; cortoid-stetroid injections that were beneficial. Spinal Cord Stimulators SCS back and now neck. They are both a life saver for me! Frankly I find the opioid too drying which are causing some other issues, i have to take a laxative daily, I have a very little appetite, i need to eat so I am glad to do procedures that work so I can keep the pain med usage down ty hugs, Kathy God bless you all!😘
