I have not heard many good reports regarding stimulators.🙂

I had the spinal cord stimulator put in my back and had it removed 7 months later. I would have had it removed sooner but insurance would not cover it since it was in the same year. It did not help me with the pain at all. All it did was making sleeping even harder since it was in my back, and I have to sleep in my recliner! Norma3

But I’ve seen several people it worked great for!

I wouldn’t recommend it. I just had my 6th spinal cord stimulator surgery. After MANY complications and as stated previously if the leads break or scar tissue builds up around it you’ll be screwed on them removing it. Something the doctors don’t tell you when you first get it.

I had a stimulator for about 1 1/2 yrs. Had it removed s it was not doin me any good. When they removed it, both probes were broke in my back. I absolutely would not have another one put in. It took longer to implant/explant do to do much arthritis in my back. Nit to mention, every surgery you have can spread crps. It certainly did for me. Praying for you.
