Does Anyone Have Experience Treating With A Holistic Physician Using CBD For Pain Control Versus Narcotic Pain Meds?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Milwaukee, WI

Looking to decrease/stop narcotic meds for pain and try using CBD instead. I would want to work with a holistic physician (I know pain management physicians will not use CBD) or any who could help in this regard. Any advice would be appreciated. Please provide info on a provider who could help with this. This is being asked for a family member, not myself. Thank you.

If you go to a CBD pharmacy, the employees there are educated in different types of CBD and what helps with a variety of conditions. If you are not aware of it, you must apply with your state health department to get permission to buy CBD. First , you need to meet with a doctor or medical professional to refer you. A holistic doctor would probably be a good choice , since he/she will need to explain to the state health department why you need help with managing pain. Good luck. Hoping you feel better soon

I don't know what state you are in but even in this less than progressive state CBD can be purchased in a brick and mortar store and there are many online varities. If you have the time research the CBD's online, there are a few or more sites that really have reviews that aren't or aren't very bias. Check them out and possibly get help from someone who knows your area and possibly already uses CBD. REMEMBER nobody verifies the strength, pureness etc. of CBD within the government, research the company, where it is grown, their lab results as posted may give you some important informatin. Good luck. Oh yes, often the better product does cost more BUT just because it cost more doesn't mean it is better.
