PS, I'm in UK, I hear this all around me now.. :(((

I have! I was on Matrifen patches ( Fentanyl 25 mcg) they only took the edge of my pain, been on them for 4 years, I was given them to try after being on Tramadol, which helped me better to be honest! I was told by my GP that I had to cut the patches in half, then half again and come off them.. as he wasn't " allowed" to prescribe opioids any more, to new patients and get the existing ones off them.. He said it was a nationwide decision from god nows who at the top of the health service.. due to cost.. and people might become addicted.. jeez, I have nothing now.. the pain ( nerve pain after a failed nee op) is really hard to deal with now!! Its debilitating, so painful to walk.. I understand this has happened to thousands maybe millions of us that are in agony day and night, whilst I feel sorry for drug addicts somewhat, I feel the rest of us are being lumped together with them, ie, as addicts. Are the drug addicts still being given their methadone? I'm not sure, but I'm now waiting for yet another pain clinic referral... who knows when.. my GP referred me with the warning " don't be surprised if they bounce you back to me"... I got the impression that a lot of his patients had just that happen.. so will be back to square one, with nothing.. I'm trying to cope, as I'm sure most of you all are, I really don't knowwhat to do.. Warm wishes to you all, x x 💕

I have never been prescribed anything for pain other than ibuprofen or tramadol.
The Drs don’t believe in helping you out with pain meds

That's where i'm headed, every time i go to my rheumatologist she cuts it, weaning me off. Hoping the cbd & delta 8 keep working for me.
