Contact your state medical board, legislators, etc. They are preventing your Dr's from RX meds. 7 yrs now & getting worse. Sign petitions, comment on fed registers,500 million pain patients , not enough do this, govt thinks its not a big deal when no one speaks out. Chk sites like "American Pain and Disability ", " don't Punish Pain ", " Dr's of courage", etc.
Need everyone if we are going to change this.
Surgeries- no pain meds! ambulances - no pain meds! Amputation s- no pain meds, double mastectomy- no pain meds, etc etc . Need everyone to get involved.

OMG, This is HORRIBLE!! After many years, I finally found a Doctor. Don't give up, I'm almond 70, it's taken years to get help with a Doctor. I'm the one now, that asks for x-rays.

NARXCARE! An AI algorithm that tracks every opioid scrip that is prescribed. A private company maintains and runs the site through government contracts. They rake in hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars to do so. They go outside the lines to collect data on us. One poor women was cut off her pain meds because her dog was prescribed tramadol and it upped her addiction rating. All of us get a score from 1 to 5.
My last doctors scrip for tramadol was denied by the pharmacy. I blame NarxCare!
I believe we need to start petitions and call our gov reps and complain and protest this injustice. My senator and representative know me by my first name, I send them a lot of emails.

Meloxicam is not a controlled substance, so I do not understand why you can not get a Rx for it. Are you seeing a Rheumatologist for your arthritic issues?
