Medical Marijuana For Fibromyalgia Pain And/or Migraine. Ready, Set, GO!

Hey all. I’m considering looking into medical marijuana for fibromyalgia pain and/or migraine. I know next to nothing about it. I’m in Florida. What has your experience been? Suggestions?

I first tried medical marijuana years ago for migraine headaches. It helped but gave me munchies. Earlier this year, I got back on it for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Again, it helped--but it made me so paranoid that I had to stop taking it.

Now I'm drinking CBD tea with mushrooms that have been proven to help with pain, and this helps without the side effects. My health insurance doesn't cover it, but I've found ways to reduce its cost.

I'm not in Florida but it's definitely worth a try if you don't mind the munchies. It's hard for me because I'm also trying to lose weight but thc makes you mindlessly eat. Also not covered by insurance so pretty expensive.

There are alot of options and it can be overwhelming at first. I would stick with vape cartridge at first then venture into tincture and others if you feel this is working for you. The vape will be instant and last for about a hour or two. There are two main main strains to look for. Sativa, wich will make you feel more awake and energized. And indica wich will put you on the couch and make you sleepy. if you don't like the "high" feeling there is also CBD vape they sell also that is really good for pain reduction with no high feeling cause it has lil to no thc. Research helped me to figure alot out and what everything does. I really hope it helps if you decide to try it

Can you or someone else fill me in a little on the options? I don’t know enough yet to ask the right questions, but I think there are different compounds and all. How do I k is I’m getting a quality product?

I am on it and it's like night and day for me. I was in a car accident wich led to all my back issues, and I was on pain meds for awhile. I always felt off on them. With the medical marijuana I can control my dosage wich is beautiful depending on what I wanna do. It takes time to get it narrowed in on what works but I always recommend a try
