Hey how's everyone surviving, DonaldMcphee sorry to hear about the pool closing it just didn't make the list of an essential service, I know how you need your pool time , our brand new community pool was open for a couple weeks. Well let's hope it's gone by September. Take Care My fellow pain Warriors

I really miss the Therapeutic Pool. My two new hips are still being broken in. I dog walk daily, yesterday I did it twice. Today, I had my Pain Block shots so my bum is numb and no dog walking. The pool allowed more range of motion and I was doing better. Physical Therapy while on Opioids allows you to push it. Now with no Opioids (by choice) the Pain floor has risen. I will get there, what ever life hurls at me.

The doctors are all about making big money the hospital's are too. They have a endless supply of people since the pain meds have been taken away. They love to give you blocks and antidepressants as long as you have insurance and if you don't they don't care endless supply of people that do. The blocks and antidepressants just don't work for me. I think lawyers are suing the drug companies and now the doctors so no doctor will write a prescription for pain meds you would have to be dieding from cancer before you could get pain meds or in a rest home yelling your head off in order to shut you up.

losing Weight isn't an issue for me, I've been on a long fight just to get back in the triple digits! If I was able to be more active it might help a little. However, due to my COPD every time I stand up my heart starts racing & Then I have a copd flare up and can't breath (yes, I've been seen by heart dr, it's really strong, it's caused by my lungs) to the point that if I don't sit down asap I will fall. I've had to fight just to survive another day and now with the war on opiates There's something else I have to fight against. I've never abused my meds and getting really tired of being penalized for having to be on Medicaid! Why can't we file discrimination claims against Dr's who refuse to accept Medicaid patients!? Or the gov system that making all the changes causing Dr's to turn us away!

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member. I absolutely hate it when I’m told to lose weight and exercise. Ive done that and still in the same place in relation to pain. However I did get a feel good factor when the weight was reducing. I love getting out and if I can do a bit more each time that’s good. At the best my mental health has improved. I’ll keep going when I can, listening to my body and cradling my body when I can’t ❤️
