Tremors/shaking

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Does anyone ever get tremors. Or shaking in your hands and body? Im not sure if it might have to do with my cervical kyphosis. Another name for that is called military neck. Its where your neck is straight where its suppose to have C curve. It causes my hand numbness. And makes it hard to use my hands. They get really swollen.

I have suffered with tremors since I was a child. They get worse if I am tired or stressed, also hand tremors increase if I am doing anything small ie: sewing beading or untangling a chain. Mine is caused by Benign Familial Tremor which is an overload of electrical impulses in the brain. Hope this helps!

My neck is similar to yours, I get the radiation pains down my neck into my hands. They thought I had carpal tunnel and did the surgery and went to a hand clinic after they did carpal tunnel surgery which made my hand pain worse. I started getting phys therapy, which helped my hands to get better.

I get them from a medication I just had to learn to adjust what I do to deal with the tremors which takes time but it works
