Chronic Pain After Glandular Fever

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone got any ideas on what my pain might be or similar experience. I had glandular fever 11 months ago and since them i have had pain in my ribs, back, chest and hips (occasionally peripheries). My doctor has checked for fibromyalgia and its not that. I have no idea what it is or how to treat it

Could it be rheumatoid arthritis. I have a condition called vocal cord dysfunction. And I get Costochondritis All the time it’s where the muscle in between the ribs swells and tightens. Over the years I’ve ended up tearing the muscle left side of my sternum it’s a type of hernia. Problem is every time I get it nearly healed I’ll have a breathing attack and tear it apart again!
