Arnold Chiari Malformation is a brain disorder. pretty much my brain is to big for my skull so it seeps down my spinal cord and causes a whole mess of other problems.

And some people can live years without any bad or major symptoms, or can find they can tolerate some things more & opt not to have any surgery for as long as possible, I'm one that had lived yrs with chiari,but I've got other major medical problems too,more back & spine problems that have caused me more problems,seems as if I can keep my other back problems in check under control I can manage ,but I have been experiencing more chiari symptoms these last few months,so getting new mri's & test to be sure exactly what's going on.been diagnosed with chiari & fighting pain 20 yrs.

There's so many comorid conditions that you can have that go along with having chiari,some are very serious conditions,some can cause problems that you need def no about.
