More of an WISH.... I wish this site had a "Chat" component". Sometimes I stay on here for awhile, and like to look for responses to mine or others posts, etc. BUT.... I would love to able to talk to people in REAL TIME, and not have to wait to see responses, etc. Since my entire social life is now online, as I am sure is true for many of us, I would find a chat extremely beneficial and therapuetic. Hi Linda!!! I SO SO get that... I am still able to drive, but limited. I will not go far, b/c the pain will start. And I have CFS.....before they put me on a med for it, I was falling asleep at the wheel.....it was one of the reasons I had to stop working. Most of us share the burden of the "invisibility". I actually stopped fixing my hair and wearing makeup for awhile so ppl would get the picture!!!! I am adding you to my team!!! (((((gentle hugs)))))
I agree with the chat component. And agree with life being online more so. Sadly being in such pain and on hard meds i cant do a lot. Even socializing is painful sigh. Would be nice to chat with people who know what I'm going thru.
i wish we had a chat component too and am wondering how we could contact someone at this site who could help up. of all people, we with chronic pain know the loneliness and certainly pain creating times we are awake and would enjoy each others company as in live chat.
I agree with you. Mostvof my social life is online. To have a way to chat on here would be great.
