Managing Post-op Acute Pain In Chronic Pain Patient

I’m going to be having a small(ish) surgery soon. I also have chronic pain for 20+ years. I’m on long term opioids. I always tell my providers to please include my pain mgt docs in my cases to manage post-op pain. However, most of the time, they don’t. The docs usually say “just use what you have at home”. Morphine Withdrawals

I reduced my 20mg 12hr release morphine pill 9 days ago which gave me handleable withdrawals then took my last one on Friday night and withdrawals kicked on Saturday lunch time it’s now Monday morning and I’m feeling better than I did but still no where near right. How long does this last please?
