Do Anyone Have A Daily Low Grade Fever?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Reidville,NL

I recently discovered I have a lowe grade fever every day and no obvious cause or medical reason. I realize most people don’t take their temperature every day but I am curios to find out if this is an unnoticed part of chronic pain, fibromyalgia in particular.

Getting Pain Meds Back

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Watertown, WI

How do I get my pain management doctor to give me back my pain meds. I was taken off of them after an accidental overdose last September. I had been at pain management for about 5 years with no problems. The overdose is kind of a long story but it was an accident. I wasn’t abusing my pain meds it was a one time thing while I hadn’t had sleep for a few days and wasn’t even thinking clearly. Im still there and doing everything they suggest it’s just not helping. Any advice. And Please no answers… read more

I agree with Brylee. I think it is the only way for you to prove to your pain Drs that you are over the accident and truly need pain meds to function semi normal. Good luck!

Reevaluation Of Psych Diagnosis/Bipolar

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Gauteng, South Africa

Has anyone tried to get a psychiatric reevaluation on the basis of chronic pain symptoms potentially masquerading as a psychiatric disorder?

- Granted, not all Bipolar symptoms can potentially be explained in terms of chronic pain, but from what I am seeing and reading, a lot of it do overlap and interact/aggravate each other. What are the chances that symptoms that can't, and which relates more to Bipolar, is in fact attributable to an entirely different underlying condition in the absence of… read more

Blood Loss From Nasty Fall Causing Extreme Thirst And Headache?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Surrey, BC

Hi there. I took a nasty fall the other day that resulted in a great deal of blood loss from gashes on my forehead (blood was just dripping everywhere). I read that substantial blood loss can result in extreme thirst. Could that account for why I've been so thirsty since the fall? Also, can blood loss lead to headaches?
