Has Anyone Hac A Nerve Block Done For Back Pain?

My pain doc wants me to try a nerve block on my back. I'm willing to try anything at this point. If you've had it done, is it painful? Does it hurt? I have DDD, stenosis,and L-4 and L-5 are herniated. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I just had the second nerve block done yesterday. So far, no relief, just more pain. My legs are weak and shakey, and I'm kinda having problems getting up from my chair. Is this normal? I think the first time, it just hurt like the dikens, but didn't have this. Any body have this with a nerve block?

I had a nerve block 3 times on no 2 dsic and it helped. It did take a while for to improve.

At one point I was on 12 T3’s a day for the lower back pain from the collapsing discs; especially S1-L5. The next step was to go on Opiods (hope I spelled it right) anyway. I decided to go for a breast reduction and pain management instead. Anyone else?
