Unfortunately, the doctor hasn’t given me a diagnosis. It’s not carpal tunnel, but I have all the symptoms. It’s frustrating because I can’t use my hands and they’re very weak. I see my doctor again December 2 and she’s going to inject corticosteroids which, I’ve read, is painful

Hi Susan, yes I know the pain very well. I had it in both hands/wrists. I also have arthritis in my hands. I would wear brace wraps on both wrists at night. My hands would go numb.
I had the surgery 8 years ago on both wrists at the same time. It was the best thing ever. It wasn't even difficult. You can't carry anything for awhile. No more pain.
I would recommend it.
Find a good hand surgeon.

Hi @A MyChronicPainTeam Member I had the cortisone in both wrists.im sorry to say yes it hurts.did me any good..please try it iv 2 splints to wear.never go to bed.just for everyday it's supposed to stretch your arms a lot mine did.i moved home I lost them .I know Amazon sells them not so much money did help me as iv very weak hands.take care we are all different this injections on your wrists may very well help you.at first the consultant let me know it didn't come up on the tests he gave me.he were in no doubt I definitely had carpal tunnel syndrome.good luck .from Lorraine xxx🤗
