This is the first year I've had to deal with shortages of Opiates at my dosage rate and I've been doing this since 1998. I'm unsure the route I'm willing to take and what the Physician will propose for this current hurdle. The Pharmacist has offered up a couple options. Our system is forever changing and evolving and it's the patient that will have to adapt along with it.

Oxycodone is not the answer for anyone unless it is used for a Very short time ( a day or 2 after surgery)
