How Do You Describe Your Pain To A Dr??

I hate the question "is your pain achey, throbbing, stabbing, etc?" I never know how to answer

I would suggest keeping a detailed journal and staying conscious of the pain you are feeling long enough to describe it. When we feel pain, our minds immediately try to distract us from it, in order to remember the sensation, you need to stay aware of it long enough to write it in your journal. Compare your pain to something you have felt elsewhere at another time. Smashing your thumb, stubbing your toe, scraping your knee. Things like that. Just a thought.

I describe my Fibromyalgia pain as one big bruise all over and someone keeps poking/hitting me.
