What Do We Do To Unwind When We Can't Sleep? Constructive, Fun Or What?

I have insomnia because it was about to rain. Still can't sleep. Do I get up and clean up something small or big, so something else serious, or binge watch the TV / read a dumb /fun/pre textbook still. It's 330 where I am so hurry up and answer, lol 8+) be cool.

for insomnia its more difficult then just turning stuff off, or being distracted. sometimes you cant get the best night sleep, and thats okay. i'd talk to doctors if you have a primary, if not, try guided sleep meditation if you enjoy that stuff, or maybe listening to calm music you can kind of get lost in
. keep your eyes closed, and hopefully you'll be able to drift off. if not, theres always the next day! do a little bit of everything until something works

I have tried Insight Timer. It has many different meditations and even LOA affirmations. Sometimes, though, I fall asleep while they're talking and then wake up when they finish, so oh, well.

The phone screen will only keep you up longer. Turn off electronics.

I always think about getting up & cleaning. I’m up a few nites a week. Then I end up reading/scrolling on the phone. Or playing games on it. I love reading Newsbreak. That helps me get sleepy.
Also have a card & puff a cpl times to help things along.
Idk if that helps u any but i hope so:-)
