I get injections in my shoulder about every 3-4 months, and so far they have seemed to help quite a bit, and have kept me out of surgery so far. If you decide to get the injections be sure and point out where you're hurting the worse because they can target the nerve to that specific area, and inject it. I have 2 problem areas in my shoulder and my ortho doc injects half of the injection in each area. Injections in my back and other body areas didn't help at all, but the shoulder injections have.

Yes I have had a few. All but 1 worked and actually lasted about 4-5 months. I have now and added complication of problems with my neck as well so the last didn't feel if it had worked but not sure if that is because my neck has been so painful! I hope it works for you. I am having an epidural nerve block in my neck at the end of the month.
