Swimming helps me if you can find a therapy pool. Water too cold may cause spasms. I use Outback roll on, helps a tad, but I am so sorry you are having trouble getting the correct pain relief you need. Sending a hug.
Oh, and I hated Lyrica, gained 50 lbs, did zero for pain.
Please hang in there. I no its ridiculous how true chronic pain sufferers get punished for people illegally getting drugs and od ing. Big difference in them and us. I dont like to hav to take pain meds but i no people who want the high from them. Stupid. I just keep thinking its got to get better for us.sending warm hugs.
Please don’t suffer because your hubby doesn’t want you taking pain meds. I did that for years and it was horrible. You will become a much worse person if you stay in horrible pain. There’s no shame in taking whatever medicine you need to survive and have a productive life! It’s very hard in the beginning of dealing with chronic pain to accept that you may become dependent. We don’t think that we’ll be in pain long term. We have hope to be cured or fixed. You need to talk with your husband and doctors. You have to accept that you may need pain meds for the rest of your life. Communication is key or your marriage will suffer. It happened to me and my wife. Once we got on the same page our marriage got great again. Good luck

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, that sure is a lot to deal with, I too have stomach issues, diagnosed IBS, I found lily of the desert inner filet aloe vera juice helps. I take a shot glass in the morning and sometimes at night. Have you tried full spectrum CBD oil? It may help with some if the nerve pain. I also use Outback, it is a roll on all natural pain remedy, it helps to put it on when I am going to bed, it seems to calm the nervous system. Good luck, I will pray for you.
