How Do You Visualise Or Illustrate Your Pain In Your Internal Dialogue ?

And does it help you ? If i give the pain a negative name it is diffecult to integrate and carry around.

I see my pain as being a big pain in my arse..lol..but..it has humbled me in other ways..like..not to waste you time waiting around for things to be perfect..it won’t happen😂live for the day..change what you can..accept what you can’t

I give all my pains names, it gives me a better control over them , but try to remain in the positive for even better results

Hi @Williemien I know a few people who have named their pain/s and found that it has helped with the management of it. I personally haven’t done this although I have tried. I do occasionally try to visualise my pain and surround it/them in clouds all nicely contained in a soft substance that will not damage it. Sometimes it helps other times not. I just don’t think I’m very good at it. Do you find it helps? X
