I tried to tap on it and it opens up too type a message I can't get it to open so you can see the comments any ideas

Press on the greyed parallel lines at the top right hand of the page and you should see all your notifications. Is that helpful?

I still can't find how to open the comment box I can do hugs and likes but when I tap comments it trying to figure me to leave à comments it won't let me read

Is the drop down set to updates. Also thaose only show if someone has used the @ with your log in name. Everything shows on the activity feed even your direct comments.
