How Do You Decide Whether Or Not To Visit The Hospital With Your Chronic Pains
Ive avoided going to the hospital when my pelvic pains flair up, because i know theres nothong they can do for me. Ive taken panadol, ibuprofen, and my prescribed codeine, none of it helps and i usually end up vomiting because of how painful it can get, its imobilising. I know the hospital cant give me anything or help in any way, i usually just get a few tests and am told to go home. And just wait for my ultrasound in 2 weeks from now. Help?
Have they tried giving you a morphine shot while you are in the ER? They can not prescribe for you, but if it helps while you are there, you will know where to start with your meds when you see your doctor, that the morphine either helped or didn’t.
I know that time it looks like my first year .Compassion to you .Try a day not to sit and lay on your belly.i don t want to give you false hope but maybe your pelvic is getting a rest from it .when i was that sick i did breathing lessons (like women in laber) because i was so desparate. Now adays i have oxicodon and amitriptaline but back then that didn t work also.
I wish you a lot of paience and i hope you get better soon
My gp told me if its causing me to louse control below the belt then hit the ER ive come close a few times that my pain levels reaching my er point but im stuborn ive been paralyzed waste down from the anount of pain i was in and still refused to let my husband take me to the ER, got roasted by my gp for that one. Yet i cut my foot open with a shard of glass and i just chose to teat it at home. Had to go to the er later that day because if my husband having a grand mal n the doc on duty had a fit id self treated my foot instead of coming in.
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member what “tools” did they give you in the Er?
