Anyone Burping Whenever Stretching Through The Pain Or Getting Pressed On The Painful Area (like My Upper Back)?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Under my right shoulder blade that's where my chronic pain is. If I'm pressed there while getting massaged; then I burp. Sometimes when I stretch into the pain there; then I burp; even when I'm rubbed vigorously which I enjoy; then I burp. Any touch on the pain leads to a release of air.

YES! My stomach rumbles when the massage therapist gets near the spasms and it’s like an air pocket releases when the muscle does. The more I live in this new body the more I’m amazed by its messages. Now I’m truly listening.

I just posted this tonight on fb.
**very strange i never had issues as bad til stroke so felt its after stroke related**

So my neck, shoulder, upper back hurt causing me to ask Mark to rub it pinch it knead me like dough. Laugh all you want in past my pain disappears when he does. Upon marks 1st moment just brushing his hand on my back i started burping the loudest burps ever( mind you he burps me like a infant when my belly hurts o degas me), then he kneaded my neck n shoulder upon request and i started to burp again... I have backed up gas causing pain in my body... Wtf has anyone else had this situation? Or is this a 1st for u ?

I sure as hell have same issues. Im lucky to have a loving man not disgusted by my requests. Most run fast .

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member i actually did n my GP did not believe what I told him n it didn't happen at the surgery 😒! But when I went to a physio she guessed that my body is probably acidic. Never went to test that though I'm using ACV n warm water to alkanise my body. All these guesses just waste money I don't have. Tks for asking! 😍😘

Yes! My fiancé presses on an area until the burping stops now and formerly puffy areas seem to “smooth out”. Have also noticed they tend to be near trigger points.
