@A MyChronicPainTeam Member I've never heard of a doctor telling someone to eat poppy seed bread for nausea. Seems to me the poppy seeds would further slow the emptying of your stomach contents. As for the dimetap sinus, it probably shows up as amphetamine in your urine. The Tylenol #3 you must have a prescription for, correct? So, that should not be a problem. We have to be proactive in our care. Thus said, stop the poppy seed bread for some time since YOU KNOW you are going to have a urine test. Also, the dimetap, stop that. Tylenol #3, you have a prescription, take the bottle with the label on it. I read what you said about nausea and all that, but if you need pain relief you have to be cooperative. Meaning, a doctor has to follow laws. If he gave patients opiates who show up with drugs in their urine, he could possibly lose his license, get fined, on his record, that would hurt his practice-his other patients. Good luck.

I am horrified that a church has turned it's back on you when to me you sound in dire need of love and support/prayer too. Not every church has this attitude and I hope your family members change their minds and give you the emotional and physical support that you need and deserve.

yep i will answer this one---you do not know anything about this situation ever--- poppy seed bread is indeed for my dead stomach and mals-----one of many thing i take-------- as for the dimetapp--i have to take it and i wont go into what the medical reason is------i do not get the codeine of the street---so yes it is from a real live dr------and i have the right to say no to treatments that are not for me or harm me or allergice too or anything else-that is my right-------- you dont kow the situation i am not hte only one this happens to there------if you think i am a drug dealer or taker-you have no idea my story-and how i lost family and church just for admitting to dr in another state that i did indeed have pain- from the injuries-and chronic pain from the immune stuff------ church esp dont believe in drs or meds but it was my daughter who sat me down and said i deserved to not be blacking out every day from pain and have a life---the dr in another state said the same thing-he did a whole body approach yes and yes some as pain meds other was natural treatments and then the nerve tests and things got worse------that dr by the way is not drug pushing either---- and he does his own research so no he is not a dr who is pill pushing he goes by the indiviaual case and person------ here though it is so corrupt in the first place---- this office has been turned in before and no i cant go anywhere else it is what dam medicaid says i have to go---------for your info-i dont take what is offered because either i am alergic too it---or else tryed before and i know what works what dont and what almost killed me-------the other dr in another state knew it too-------it is bad enough i am in so much pain i pass out------throw up every day from the dead stomach and mals------ and all the other immune crap-- so dont accuse me of nothing---- this dr was turned in by the way -------even medicaid knew i did nothing wrong and are on my side as is the pharmacy-i have a long list of suppliments just to get by-------every bite is painful so i have to take suppliments the bread just coats things and controls the throwing up and the spasms-------loosing church and family because they dont believein illness or meds or treatment is hard too------- so yes i take it seriously------very and dont do nothing more then a dr says too-but ike i said you know nothing of the situation so dont accuse
