Overview
Ansaid is a prescription medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Ansaid is also referred to by its drug name, Flurbiprofen.
Ansaid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). NSAIDs help reduce fever, pain, and inflammation. Ansaid is believed to work by inhibiting the production of chemicals that promote inflammation and blood clot formation in the body.
How do I take it?
Ansaid is taken two to four times a day.

Side effects
The FDA-approved label for Ansaid lists common side effects including headache, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, sweating, blurred vision, ringing in the ears, dry mouth, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, gas constipation, upset stomach, bloating, and skin rash or itching.
Rare but serious side effects listed for Ansaid include stroke, heart attack, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
