Inaccurate Urine Screen

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fresno, CA

I’ve been on Oxycodones & Norco’s since 2006 . My doctor asks for a urine test and ends up dropping me cold turkey for a negative test on the Norco’s. How the hell does this happen after taking the same meds for all these years ? No second chance, no sit down to ask why . Just get out of office before we call police. Does anybody see something fishy with this doctors office??? Do I need an attorney? Or let it blow ? Withdrawals will kick in soon.

Shoulder Impingement, Acromion Type-2, Can Cause A Lot Of Pain?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Belgium, WI

Hi,

I have chronic shoulder pain since 2015, in 2016 after 4 cortisone shots (last one didn't help anymore) I had a surgical treatment on my right shoulder (Bankart repair).

After the treatment nothing has changed 🙁 I still suffer a lot of pain, since then, I took Tramadol Retard (100mg) every single day but it doesn't help anymore and when I double the dosis to 200mg I get nausea and difficulties with breathing.

The last MRI scan shows that there is Acromion Type-2, my sportmedical doctor… read more

Does The Current Pain Scale Meets Your Needs?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Corowa, AU

When I've had flare ups or just worse pain than usual, I've found that the Pain Scale just doesn't meet my needs. When I am having a low pain day I'd rate my pain as 5-6 , not 0. My pain is constant and severe. Have you become well practiced in masking your pain? I can distract myself from the pain until it gets to 8, after that I start crying but as it worsens I get more and more quiet. I get into bed and lie as still as possible with the electric blanket roasting hot and heat packs. Last time… read more

Why Is It That Drs Still Charge Our Insurance To Only Refuse To Aid Our Pain? I Don't Think That's Right.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Oxnard, CA

We all pay for services.
If we pay our providers we should get what is paid for.
What is included with a paid Dr visit?
Anybody question that?
It's time WE question what is given in exchange for the paid visit.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

Um...yea. ..?
Exactly...
