Has Anyone Lost Communication With Their Family ( Brothers And Sisters) ?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Melbourne, FL

Has anyone else lost communications with direct family members (i.e. Brothers and sisters, mom or dad)? I lost my friends awhile ago but my family seems to think I have a drug problem and not a chronic pain problem due to smashing my back in a dirt bike accident. Maybe I'm unique, but I have very little energy to explain the difference between drug addict and medically necessary.

WA State Chronic Pain Patients Wiling To Stand Up For Your Right To Keep Your Opioid Medication And At A Dose That Works?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Puyallup, WA

WA STATE TESTIMONY NEEDED! Looking for others in WA state who have had their opioid medication reduced or taken away since the CDC guidelines. Bill 1427 passed the WA Senate, and although some parts are good, their is a requirement for our DOH Medical Quality Assurance Commission to adopt new opioid prescribing rules by Jan. 2019. Just what we need, more rules. We need to be ready to stand up for ourselves. I will be at these public rule making meetings and have every intention of making sure… read more

Is The New Limits On Opiod Levels Law Or Will There Be Doctor's That Can Prescribe What Is Actually Needed?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Anniston, AL

Two pain management doctor's have told me that my medication levels are too high according to the new regulations. My activity level and quality of life will be greatly affected by the lower dosage that is mandated by the government. Are there any provisions to allow doctor's to prescribe more than the mandated level? What about my rights to a higher quality of life?

Can You Buy Entonox Or Get It On Prescription??

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

So I'm just wondering if I can buy or get on prescription entonox or also known as gas and air for home. I've noted it's brilliant for when my pain is at it's height and I am really stuck. I would like that minus the hospital visit.

Any advice is a help. Thankyou for reading ❤

Breaking Point With Pain

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
New Castle, IN

I know we all get to that absolute point of breaking because our pain is so intense. My last hope is taking the hottest bath I possibly can and staying in the water as long as I can. After I'm out I get about 20 minutes of good relief. I was just wondering what works for others.

This Is Not A Question, But A Statement.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Beach Lake, PA

I have been on narcotics ie: fentanyl, oxycontin, methadone, Percocet, etc. for the past 13 years for chronic pain syndrome, RSD, and fibromyalgia. Please know that taking narcotics masks underlying health issues. I decided to get off of the methadone I was on for the last 4 years; when I was at 10 mg. the doctor put me on clonidine patches .1mg every three days to "calm me down." He told me nothing about tapering down on the medication. It caused me to have horrible nightmares, so I removed the… read more

I Would Like To Know If Anyone Has Tried Agmatine For Fibromyalgia And Chronic Pain..

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Texas City, TX

Disclaimer.. I am not a doctor just my own guinea pig and can't recommend anything. Always check with your doctor 1st before taking a new supplement. I don't know if this interacts with ssris or antidepressant as this supplement helps with depression.

I am starting it tomorrow as I'm always using myself as a guinea pig lol. I've tried so many alternative treatments and supplements out of pocket. I saw many good reviews and articles about it. Surprisingly I never heard of it before until a week… read more

Does Anyone Else Have Difficulty Wanting To Be Alive Because The Emotional And Physical Pain Feels Unbearable. I'm Not Saying I'm Suicidal

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Rochester, NY 14606

I'm not saying I'm suicidal, but I do wish I could just die rather than live in chronic pain and treatment resistant depression.
