I Need To Ask A Somewhat Embarrasing Question.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dayton, NV

Over the years by the time I got off work & was able to take pain meds and did all the dinner stuff etc, all I could do was take more meds & crawl into bed. As a result my dental hygiene suffered terribly.
I'm now faced w having my last remaining 19 teeth removed as they are not repairable, fortunately Medicaid will cover the dentures I don't know yet about the extractions.
Please friends tell me I'm not the only one this has happened to.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

yup, I'm there too...no insurance, no money, 8 left on top one gone next to the two bunny teeth, it looks terrible and Medicaid in Georgia doesn't pay for dentures, cause we suck here...

I suffer from IBS, I've recently had costochondritis, chronic pain/fatique/inflammation but no diagnosis, right side jaw pain with face pain and eye tenderness...lower back pain, suffer from cervical radiculopathy (diagnosed during this last winter), early signs of osteoarthritis, the list goes on....

I'd appreciate any input on the face/jaw pain part with eye tenderness. Tried making an appointment with my Dr but the receptionist was treating me like I don't have issues. It's frustrating and… read more

Vitamines

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Brampton, ON

On the first visit to my Pain Doctor, she advised me to start taking 1,000iu Omega-3 and 1,000iu Vitamin D. The 1,000iu Omega-3 she wanted me to take is attained by taking TWO 1,000 Omega-3 pills. There is a wonder drug being advertised that has 5,000iu Vitamin D along with their Omega-3 mix. The extra Vitamin D is supposed to raise your enjoyment/appreciation of life. After discussing with my doctor, I increased from 1,000iu to 2,000iu, then 3,000iu two weeks after that. I think it is a part of… read more

I know if ANYONE understands problems working with chronic pain, it's my people here. So, I would love to work PT to try and get back or there. I am a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/Scribe.

Does anyone on here know of ANY type of business or Dr. that needs a PT at home Scribe? I type like crazy and have tons of experience! This would be my first choice, as with pain, this is something I could do at my discretion. There are tons of companies, or people who work for companies who record their… read more
