Any suggestions? My husband knows how to crack the back like a chiropractor does. Physical therapy showed us what to do but he's just too scared sometimes I feel I just need a good back crack.

Gabapentin

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Pontypridd, UK

Anyone used Gabapentin for chronic pain. Just had to come off Codeine and Tramadol and Doctor has given me this to try. What can I expect?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I take Gabapentin and hydrocodone. The Gabapentin is for nerve pain, and the hydrocodone is for the rest of my pain. I'm still in lots of pain.

Is Anyone With Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Willing To Talk With Me?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sault Ste. Marie, ON

I have suspected EDS and am awaiting official diagnosis, but I am coming to find that I feel extremely alone in this as even my partners don't quite understand what I am dealing with. This has been a wonderful community of caring, understanding people, but I would very much like to connect with people who have been diagnosed with or suspect they may have EDS and perhaps learn more about living with it as even regular chronic pain tricks don't always help.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I know it's been awhile since you posted but I'm willing to talk.

Depends on what kind of injection. for some the pain med in the spine can work wonders, others of us, not so much.

Shoulder Impingement, Acromion Type-2, Can Cause A Lot Of Pain?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Belgium, WI

Hi,

I have chronic shoulder pain since 2015, in 2016 after 4 cortisone shots (last one didn't help anymore) I had a surgical treatment on my right shoulder (Bankart repair).

After the treatment nothing has changed 🙁 I still suffer a lot of pain, since then, I took Tramadol Retard (100mg) every single day but it doesn't help anymore and when I double the dosis to 200mg I get nausea and difficulties with breathing.

The last MRI scan shows that there is Acromion Type-2, my sportmedical doctor… read more

Why Is It That Drs Still Charge Our Insurance To Only Refuse To Aid Our Pain? I Don't Think That's Right.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Oxnard, CA

We all pay for services.
If we pay our providers we should get what is paid for.
What is included with a paid Dr visit?
Anybody question that?
It's time WE question what is given in exchange for the paid visit.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

Um...yea. ..?
Exactly...

Is this Avinza better or worse for kidneys and liver than hydrocodone? Does the pain relief provided reportedly last longer also? Constipation? Thanks
