I'm Set To Have Surgery Soon. What To Expect?
I'm set to have surgery on my right foot for 2 torn tendons soon. With already having fibromyalgia, other nerve pain and severe osteoporosis what should I expect?
Do you think the surgery will affect the fibromyalgia? And my Dr's biggest concern is that the surgery will cause CRPS.
I hurt my foot nearly a year ago. I've been wearing a boot and brace ever since hoping it would heal. It's not healing so my Dr said he's going to have to go in and graft the tendons.
Thank you all in advance ☺️ 💞
Hi Judy 🥰, I tore the tendons nearly a year ago and they just won't heal. I've severely torn the tendon at the front of my ankle that comes up and a partial tear in the side of my ankle that comes… read more

Can Anyone Recommend A Compassionate Pain Management Doctor And His/her Clinic Inn Reno NV?
I just moved here. Am about to get United Healthcare (a Medigap plan). I'm on hydrocodone/ acetaminophen, 3 pills a day plus morphine sulfate ER, 15 mgs. Been taking this amount for 8 years. ( Finally got my Kaiser doctor in CA to add a 4th, but she started a taper when the crap new CDC guidelines came out last year.) I'm so worried a new Dr will try and cut me back even more. My quality of life would be zero, if that happens! Thanks in advance for any recomendations!
I've had no constipation issues. It's calcium supplements that bind me up! I use Sena, an OTC stool softener and/or liposomal vitamin c.

Why Do Benzos Seem To Be Effective At Pain Reduction?
For example if I take an occasional Lorazepam for anxiety my anxiety is eliminated but so is my underlying (pelvic) pain for six hours. Anyone know how/why that works? Same for alcohol: two beers at 5pm and I feel much much better.
Are you a subscriber to Stanford Pain's bs? Pain is NOT in your head, hyperalgesia is NOT a real thing, and "catastrophizing" is a dirty word to real chronic pain patients.
