I am in the same boat every one else is in. But what can we do about it. I have 5 fused disc in my neck. Gone thru two surgeries. The ppl that need pain meds can’t get them. But ppl that don’t need them gets all kinds of meds. How can that be. And what can we do about it ?

At the moment having serious problems with nerves in my face if i drink a fruit tea or brush my teeth i get these shooting pains in cheeks and jaw i also get these heart stopping shoot pains thru head they can knock me to floor pretty fast
I have a dignosis of trigeminal neuealgia and TMJ so probs tht but so unbearable
Does anyone else Have or had similar problems

G,Day member im 67 on strong meds for 20 plus years has any one had a Ketamine infushion in Hospital for about a week and being off all Pain meds while having the Ketamine did the rest off your Meds did the Meds work better after your Ketamine infushion did it helep you Pain level Better ?

I have never heard of this one. I have been on oxycontin, fentanyl, loracet, and librarians. In the pass. And at one time I was trying heroin. But I got away from that fast.

So I pinched a nerve on/in my spine about a week ago, tripped and twisted my back wrong and now it hurts to move! I have tried all the usual things save for ice, or heat, due to my internal problems being overly sensitive to either. Basically I need that extra umpf to help with this one, as i have done this before and it is awful every time ( I am sure a great many can relate ) and has made it so that of course turning, walking, etc, are incredibly difficult! My Mom has it so bad. She's already on pain meds. She needs her hip done. But she's afraid of the down time. She afraid I'll have to much put in me. Thank you

Does anyone else have hot spots where one minute you can have normal daily pain. Then uncontrollable burning like a torch is right on ur skin and nothing makes it better. And just have to wait it out not touching or letting anything touch the area thank you in advance.

Any suggestions for me or anyone else in this situation I have trouble getting out of bed this is my literal day
Wake up
Take pills
Watch TV
Take pills
Eat dinner
Watch TV
Go to bed
Take pills
Watch TV till I pass out
REPEAT

I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis . I have read about
a heating liner or pad that goes under your bottom sheet.
Do they really work, are they expensive? Any advice?
