A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Peterborough, ON

I haven't been in a relationship for over three years. After separation from my ex-husband. I just scared to get into a relationship and explain my pain. And explain why I am on certain Meds. For my pain. And why I can't do certain things. Just don't feel like explaining it all. And be asked a million questions. I still work part-time. But I am exhausted after work. So really only want to go home and relax.

Filling Opioid Scripts

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Hillsboro, TN

I live in southern middle Tennessee. Have used Wal Mart pharmacy for about 20 years now and have NEVER had trouble until last week. I took my opioid script in and was told they were no longer taking scripts from several doctors from the pain clinic I go to. I called the clinic and was told I would have to come back in to see another doctor. This is an inconvenience, since the practice is about 35-40 miles from where I live. Anyway, I seen another doctor who informed me that Wal Mart was stopping… read more

Constipation With Narcotics

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I would welcome any suggestions to deal with constipation. Before I used to take 40 mg of Oxycocet and my body could handle that. Now I am taking 6 mg of Hydromorphone twice per day. Today I took some Lactulose, but I am still waiting for it to take effect, it is a strong laxative, that a Doctor should know that you are taking, but it takes a while to work.
I don't want to take laxatives regularly, so any suggestions are welcome.
Thanking everyone for their assistance, in advance.

I just wanted to say I have the same constipation problem from occasional opiate use and I Hate It
