How Do I Share A Picture Of My Companion Animal.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cranbrook, BC

His name is Bugsie, were together 24\7, sometimes he's my only company. He warns me when Ive got a migraine coming on. He keeps me active when I'm able but is quite happy just hanging out on the couch watching a movie or curling up in bed with me in bad days. He also keeps me calm through stressful situations - I have a paradoxical reaction to anxiety meds, so he is my anxiety 💊. When were out he's strictly business but relaxes & let's loose at home. I don't think I'd make it out of bed or leave… read more

I use medical marijuana for pain also. I’ve used it for years now. Smoking it gets a quick relief, I find a balance of THC and CBD works best for me. The closer to 1:1 ratio the better

How Do You Describe Your Pain To A Dr??

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Toccoa, GA

I hate the question "is your pain achey, throbbing, stabbing, etc?" I never know how to answer

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I would suggest keeping a detailed journal and staying conscious of the pain you are feeling long enough to describe it. When we feel pain, our minds immediately try to distract us from it, in order… read more

Has Anyone Ever Heard Of The Pain Medication Causing Your Pain?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
London, ON

I went to a new Pain Clinic earlier this week. After hours of questions and a short examination. The resident-doctor had a video chat with the clinic's doctor, and apparently they decided that my pain was being caused by my pain meds. I've missed doses of my pain meds. It's not a pretty thing. So just waiting to hear from my doctor as to what the hell is next. My wife came with me to the appointment as well. An extra set of ears help out hearing things and remembering questions. So has anyone… read more

Question About THC

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭
Hicksville, NY

I am looking into using CBD oil or marijuana. I am not a regular pot user. I tried some cookies laced with it and it started my heart racing and felt fidgety, which I don't want. Is there something I can use for pain and mild anxiety when needed? They just recently started opening dispensaries here. Trying to find relief without adding other issues. Thanks.

Hello peaceandlove, CBD oil works great plus you have better control on its use. A few drops can be some relief. Feel better, lori k
